10 Gluten- and Dairy-Free Slow Cooker Recipes

Hello everyone — I’m back after some months away from the site. It’s been a difficult time following a close family bereavement, and I appreciated the break, but I’ve missed sharing recipes and cooking ideas. With the weather turning cooler, I wanted to return with a collection of my ten favourite gluten-free and dairy-free slow cooker recipes. These are comforting, hands-off meals that are ideal for busy days and for anyone avoiding gluten and dairy without sacrificing flavour.

I’m always experimenting with new dishes and adaptations, so if there’s a recipe you’d like to see converted to a gluten-free and/or dairy-free version, please let me know. I try to keep things simple, reliable, and full of flavour — perfect for the slow cooker.

Below are ten slow cooker favourites, each naturally gluten-free and dairy-free or easily adapted. I’ve included a short description for each so you can get a sense of the flavours and why they make great slow cooker meals.

Enjoy!

  1. 1. Slow Cooked Thai Pork (Gluten Free, Dairy Free) — A fragrant, slightly spicy pork dish with Thai-inspired aromatics. The slow cooker softens the meat until it’s meltingly tender and allows the flavours of garlic, ginger, lime and chilli to infuse gently. Serve with rice and plenty of fresh herbs for a bright, satisfying meal.
