Located just minutes from the Disney parks, Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark is an excellent choice for families visiting Walt Disney World. While it isn’t on Disney property, the resort often provides shuttle service to the parks. The standout feature is the large waterpark and pool complex, a perfect way to cool off in the Florida heat.

The resort’s address is 14500 Continental Gateway, only a short drive from International Drive and the Disney parks. Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM.
Resort Rooms
This property markets itself as an all-suite Holiday Inn. Suite options include 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts, each with a separate living room and a queen sleeper sofa. The 2- and 3-bedroom suites include a kids’ room with bunk beds, while the 3-bedroom “Executive Suite” adds an extra guest room with twin beds.
Most suites include a kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The larger Executive Suite features a full-size refrigerator and a more complete kitchen area with dining space and bar-style seating. Every suite has a dining table and chairs and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV.
The Suite Bathroom
Bathrooms are functional and consistent across suites, with a sink and vanity, toilet, and shower/tub combo. The Executive Suite adds an en-suite bathroom off the master bedroom with a walk-in shower.
Kids Bedroom
The kids’ bedroom is a highlight for families. The themed room includes a double bed on the bottom and a twin on top, built-in shelving, and a small flatscreen TV—creating a fun, separate space for children.
The Master Bedroom
Master bedrooms typically offer a queen or king bed, nightstands, closet space, and a wall-mounted TV. Rooms are practical and designed with family stays in mind.
Check-In and Hospitality
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. The front desk area can be busy during peak arrival times, but staff are friendly and attentive. Returning guests may notice familiar faces among the staff.

The dining area is spacious and rarely feels overcrowded, even when the pool is busy. An on-site arcade connects to the dining room, offering family entertainment after meals.

A small on-site shop stocks snacks and essentials. For fuller grocery or supply runs, a Walmart and other stores are located nearby.

Beyond the waterpark, the resort offers a range of activities: a 4D experience with a Bank Heist Laser Maze, a small movie theater showing family-friendly films, a Kids Corner play area, an arcade, and nightly entertainment options.

The waterpark and pool are the resort’s primary draws. The large pool features zero-entry access, splash pads, and lifeguards on duty. The waterpark includes multiple slides, interactive water features, and a tipping bucket that drenches the play area—favorites with kids. Private cabanas are available to rent by half- or full-day.

Additional on-site amenities include a 9-hole mini golf course, basketball court, playground, ping pong tables, an arcade, and a small fitness center.
Overall Thoughts and Review
We’ve stayed at this resort multiple times and consistently recommend it for families seeking value near Walt Disney World. As Hilton Honors members, we sometimes find even better rates. Compared with Disney-owned resorts, this property can be louder and the pool area is often busier, but the price, suite layouts, bunk bedrooms, and waterpark make it a top choice for budget-conscious families visiting the theme parks.
