Beginning Sunday, October 1, 2017, members of the THM Very Fluffy Challenge Group (unofficial) began a 90 Day THM Plan challenge together.

We committed to stay on plan through the 2017 holiday season and support one another every step of the way.

What is the 90 Day THM Plan Challenge?

The 90 Day THM Plan Challenge is a structured commitment to follow the Trim Healthy Mama approach for 90 consecutive days. The goal is to build consistency, develop sustainable meal planning habits, and find food freedom through a supportive community.

The challenge includes daily check-ins, practical meal-planning ideas, recipe inspiration from bloggers and from the three Trim Healthy Mama books, including the Trim Healthy Table cookbook and the Trim Healthy Mama plan book. Participants share what works for them, ask questions, and celebrate successes together.

Members often use available resources—cookbooks, online membership content, and community-shared ideas—to plan meals that fit their lifestyle. We respect authors and creators and do not share copyrighted material without proper credit.

The women in the THM Very Fluffy Challenge Group enjoy encouraging one another. We post photos of meals, swap tips for staying on track during difficult days, and help each other avoid falling into the “off-plan” trap. When someone slips, we offer compassion and practical help so they can return to plan quickly and confidently.

What is a Fluffy Mama?

The term “Fluffy Mama” is used by this community to describe women who have approximately 50 or more pounds to lose. Many members have released over 100 pounds during their journeys, often while managing other health challenges as well.

If you have 50 pounds or more to release, you are welcome to join the group and participate in the challenge. We invite former participants who have released significant weight while following Trim Healthy Mama to return and encourage those who are still working toward their goals.

As adults we take responsibility for our choices and our progress. This small group is a joyful and supportive place where members celebrate victories and offer prayer and encouragement when needed. The environment is grace-filled and welcoming—there is no room for negativity, harsh judgment, or sharing off-plan recipes as encouragement to stray from the plan.

Can I join the 90 Day THM Plan Challenge if I’m Not Fluffy?

Absolutely. The challenge is open to anyone who wants to commit to 90 days on plan—whether you have a little or a lot of weight to lose, or you simply want to improve your relationship with food. Grab your Trim Healthy Mama books or membership resources, plan your meals, and join the effort.

When you post about your progress on social media, consider using the hashtags #YesICan or #90DaysTHM. If you see someone using those hashtags, take a moment to encourage her, congratulate her milestones, and celebrate food freedom together. Use #FoodFreedom to highlight the positive mindset and healthy habits you’re building.

The challenge is centered on accountability, practical meal planning, and compassionate encouragement. Participants share meal ideas, recipes, and grocery tips, but the heart of the group is mutual support: cheering each other on through the holidays, setbacks, and triumphs.
